The Athabasca Aces were a men's senior A hockey team from Athabasca, Alberta, who were charter members of the North Central Hockey League (Alberta). The Aces played from 1994 to 1998, when they folded due to a shortage of players. Fast forward 10 years, and the Aces resurfaced and joined the NCHL for the 2008-09 season. The returning Aces played in the NCHL from 2008 to 2013, when they again folded due to a shortage of players.
