Arto Blomsten (born March 16, 1965 in Vaasa, Finland) is a former professional ice hockey defenceman. He was drafted in the twelfth round, 239th overall, by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1986 NHL Entry Draft. He played twenty-five games in the National Hockey League: nineteen with the Jets and six with the Los Angeles Kings.
Blomsten played for Djurgårdens IF from 1983 to 1993. During this time he also played for Sweden at the 1985 World Junior Championship and 1992 and 1993 World Championships.
In 1993 he came to North America to give the NHL a try. His style of play was not suited to the NHL's more physical style of play. The Winnipeg Jets traded him to the Los Angeles Kings in 1995. After two seasons and only six games with the Kings Blomsten returned to Europe.
He had played in a total of 25 NHL games and scored 4 assists.
Blomsten finished his career with Frölunda HC and VIK Västerås HK in Sweden and retired in 2000.
