Arthur Herchenratter (November 24, 1917 – August 1, 1989) was a professional hockey right winger who played for the Detroit Red Wings in the National Hockey League.
He played junior hockey for his hometown Kitchener Greenshirts from 1936 to 1938. He then played two seasons in the Michigan-Ontario League and signed as a free agent with the Detroit Red Wings in 1940.
Hercehnratter played 10 games for the Wings in 1940-41, scoring a goal and two assists. He played in the minors until 1942 when he joined the Canadian military for World War II.
After the war he split the 1946-47 season between the Houston Huskies and the Springfield Indians. He then returned to his hometown and played for the senior Kitchener-Waterloo Dutchmen until he retired in 1950.
