Armin Helfer (born May 31,1980 in Bruneck, Italy) is an Italian defenceman playing for the Pusteral-Val Pusteria Wolves of Italy's Serie A.
He started out with the Wolves from 1996 to 2001 and then joined the Milano Vipers from 2001 to 2007. In 2007-08 Helfer played for HC TWK Innsbruck in Austria and then in 2008-09 went to HC Thurgau in Switzerland. Helfer returned to the Wolves in 2009.
He won Italian chanpionships in every season from 2001 to 2006.
Helfer represented Italy at the 1999 and the 2000 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. He also played in every World Championship from 2000 to 2010 as well as the 2006 Olympics.
