Achievements[]

History[]

Arlan Kokshetau joined the Kazakhstan Championship in 2009-10 as an expansion team, along with Beybarys Atyrau. The team's original roster comprised for the most part the players of Metallurg Serov, a former Russian team that had folded not so long before. The team began with several difficulties. Although the results on the ice were not bad, with the team being in a respectable fourth place after eight games played. However, the team found itself unable to play a true home game at their new home, Ice Palace Burabai, due to construction delays, meaning extra expenses for the team (which the Kazakhstan Ice Hockey Federation partially helped cover)[1].
