Ari Vallin (born on March 21, 1978 in Ylöjärvi, Finland) is a Finnish professional ice hockey defenseman, currently with HIFK of SM-Liiga. Ari Vallin was the player who shot the sudden death goal in 2003-2004 SM-liiga playoff finals in Finland against TPS in overtime therefore making the Kärpät team the new champions.
