The original Antigonish Bulldogs were a junior team that participated in the 1943-44 Nova Scotia Junior Playoffs and the 1944-45 Nova Scotia Junior Playoffs.
They won the 1943-44 Nova Scotia Junior Playoffs and lost in the Maritimes final to the Amherst Ramblers in the Maritimes final. They would be disqualified from the 1944-45 playoffs after winning the semfinals for using overage players.
