André Joseph Armand Pronovost (born July 9, 1936, in Shawinigan Falls, Quebec) is a retired Canadian ice hockey forward.

He played junior hockey with the Montreal Junior Canadiens from 1953-56. Pronovost began his career with the Montreal Canadiens in 1956. He won four straight Stanley Cups with Montreal 1957-58-59-60.

Traded to the Boston Bruins in 1960, he played there for two seasons and was traded to the Detroit Red Wings. A salary dispute in 1964 helped lead to his demotion to the minors.

Except for a short run with the Minnesota North Stars in 1967-68, Pronovost sepnt the rest of his career in the minors, retiring in 1972.

In 556 NHL games he scored 94 goals and 104 assists. In 70 playoff games, he had 11 goals and 11 assists.
