The Amherst Ramblers were a senior team.
The senior team dates back to the 1920's and often played in the Maritimes' Central Section. They also played in other leagues from time to time.
They won the Maritimes Senior Championships in 1959-60, 1960-61, and 1961-62.
They entered the 1959-60 Eastern Canada Allan Cup Playoffs, the 1960-61 Eastern Canada Allan Cup Playoffs. and the 1960-61 Eastern Canada Allan Cup Playoffs.
The 1960-61 team is a member of the Nova Scotia Sports Hall of Fame.
