The Alvernia Golden Wolves are a women's and men's hockey program representing Alvernia University in Reading, Pennsylvania and are a member of the United Collegiate Hockey Conference. The men's team will begin play with the 2022-23 playing season and will also be a member of the United Collegiate Hockey Conference.
The program was announced in a media release on March 2, 2018. The program will begin play with the 2019-20 season. The program will be based out of the Santander Arena and the Body Zone in Reading, Pennsylvania.
The school was announced as being a member of the United Collegiate Hockey Conference and Middle Atlantic Conferences for the 2019-20 season.
