Alain Crête (born August 13, 1958) is a Canadian sports journalist who holds a degree in political science from Laval University. He has been a sports commentator on the radio show "Depuis il faut se lever", as well as on the Réseau des sports since 1993. He started in 1979 at CKCV, where he was a newsreader. He also broadcast Quebec Nordiques games on CJRP 1060 AM and CHRC 80 AM. He worked for CFCM-TV (TVA) in 1981; From 1986 to 1993, he worked for TQS. He was also a sports commentator for Radio-Canada during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Alain Crête collaborates as a sports journalist on a daily basis alongside Paul Arcand for his morning show, Puisque il faut se lever, on 98.5 FM. He is the father of Elisabeth Crête who co-hosts the show "Bouchard en parle" on FM93 in Quebec City.
