Allebrun

Al LeBrun (born December 1, 1940 in Timmins, Ontario) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey Defenceman who played six games in the National Hockey League for the New York Rangers.

He played junior hockey for the Guelph Biltmores and the Guelph Royals (both New York Rangers farm teams) from 1957 to 1961. The Rangers called him up for a four game trial in 1960-61.

LeBrun turned pro with the Kitchener-Waterloo Beavers in 1961-62 and then played for the Vancouver Canucks in 1962-63. He sat out the 1963-64 season due to spinal surgery. After that year he spent most of his career in the minor pros, except for 2 more games with the Rangers in 1965-66.

He retired in 1974 after spending six seasons with the San Diego Gulls.
