The Akwesasne Warriors were a minor league professional ice hockey team in the Federal Hockey League starting play for its inaugural 2010-11 season. Based on Akwesasne Indian Reservation, Ontario near Cornwall. The Warriors played at the A`nowara`ko:wa Arena.
The Warriors won the inaugural Commisioner's Cup on March 26, 2011 by defeating the New York Aviators three games to two. Pierre Dagenais was named the league's playoffs MVP.
The following season Dagenais was also the league's leading scorer.
The league announced on June 3, 2012 that franchise suspended operations for the 2012-2013 season. They didn't return for the 2013-2014 season. The team's website is no longer active as of February 2014.
