The Afton Ice Rink is an indoor arena located in Affton, Missouri. The facility is home to the Affton Americans Youth Hockey Program which was established in 1972, the Lady Liberty Girls Hockey Program, and the St. Louis Jr. Blues of the North American 3 Hockey League. Among the other users of the rinks are the St. Louis City and County Youth Hockey Leagues, the Southern Illinois Hockey League and high school teams representing Lindbergh, CBC, SLUH, and Vianney High Schools.
The rink was originally an outdoor rink that was built in 1972 on land donated by the Affton Khoury League from what was originally a baseball field. Among the volunteers working on the project was Noel Picard of the St. Louis Blues, local businesses and labor unions also donated supplies and labor to get an outdoor rink built. A few years later the facility was enclosed. The original ice making equipment is still in use.
