Adie Knox Herman Arena

The Adie Knox Herman Arena is an indoor arena, pool, and general recreation centre located in Windsor, Ontario. The arena underwent renovations in 2011 which updated the ice making capabilities of the facility. The arena is named in honour of the wife of the former owner and publisher of the Windsor Star newspaper.  The arena has been on the chopping block for a while with the possibility of the ice pad being removed and being turned into a year round dry-pad venue for floor hockey, lacrosse, and other indoor activities as part of a plan the city was proposing for parks and recreation facitlities .[1] Thus far the arena has been left as is and has been continued to be used for ice hockey.[2]
