Adam Musil (born on March 26, 1997 in Delta, Canada) is a Czech-Canadian ice hockey center/left winger currently playing with the Bílí Tygři Liberec of the Tipsport Extraliga. He was selected 94th overall in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft by the St. Louis Blues.
He comes from one of the most famous hockey families in Czechia. His grandfather was Jaroslav Holík, his father is František Musil, his older brother is David Musil, his great uncle is Jiří Holík and his uncle is Bobby Holík.
Club career[]
Musil began his junior career with the Burnaby Winter Club U15 A1 of the PCBHL in the 2011-12 season.
In the 2012-13 season, he played 32 regular season games and 6 play-off games with the Greater Van Canadiens under-18 AAA-team and then 3 regular season games and 3 play-off games with the Red Deer Rebels of the WHL.
Musil spent next 4 seasons with the Red Deer Rebels of the WHL. In the 2014-15 season, he played at the CHL Top Prospects Game. After the completion of the 2016-17 season as the captain with the Red Deer Rebels of the WHL where he played 56 regular season games and 5 play-off games in this season, he finished this season with the Chicago Wolves of the AHL where he played 2 regular season games and 6 play-off games in this season.
Next two seasons spent Musil with the San Antonio Rampage of the AHL.
Since 2019, Musil is playing with the Bílí Tygři Liberec organisation. In the 2019-20 season, he played 51 games with the Bílí Tygři Liberec of the Tipsport Extraliga and 7 games with their farm club, the HC Benátky nad Jizerou of the Chance Liga.
In the 2020-21 season, Musil played exclusively with the Bílí Tygři Liberec of the Tipsport Extraliga. He was signed there until the end of this season.
International career[]
Musil played with the Canadian Pacific U17 Team at the 2014 World U17 Hockey Challenge (winning there silver), represented Canada at the 2014 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament (winning there gold) and played with the Czech National Team at the 2017 World Junior Championship.
