The Aberdeen Rink was an indoor rink located in Amherst, Nova Scotia. The arena was located adjacent to the town's armory where the Amherst Curling Club is presently located. The arena dates back to at least 1895.[1] The arena was operated by the ice company and was expanded to include two sheets for curling. Both sports were apparently held at the same time as a newspaper story mentioned a prominent curler taking a puck in the face from an shot on the hockey rink causing a severe fracture. The arena burned down (date unspecified) and was replaced by the Bailey Arena.
