This was to be the 2025 Alberta Senior AA Playoffs tournament. The Lethbridge Lightning of the Ranchland Senior Hockey League were to be host for the event. All games were to be held at the Cavendish Farms Arena in Lethbridge April 3 to 6, 2025.
On March 25th Hockey Alberta announced that the tournament was cancelled when the Falher Pirates, Lacombe Generals, and Vermilion Rock all withdrew from the event less than two weeks before the event.[1]

- The North Peace Hockey League champion or the furthest advancing Alberta-based team is eligible to advance to the tournament. The eligible team has declined to participate in the event each year over the past several years. The Falher Pirates broke this trend and were apparently participating this year before changing the decision.
- The only other league in the province, the East Central Senior Hockey League, which is a Senior A level league, has not had any teams participate in the event in its history as it is classified as Senior A.
