This is the 2024-25 Sask/Alta Senior Hockey League season.
Membership Changes[]
- The league removed the St. Walburg Eagles after one game of the 2023-24 season apparently for paying some players to play. The team would announce on April 22, 2024 that they were accepted into the Saskatchewan Prairie Senior Hockey League for the 2024-25 season.[1]
- On May 22, 2024 the Wainwright Rustlers announced that they would be joining the East Central Senior Hockey League for the 2024-25 season.[2]
- The league adds the Marwayne Comets. The team last played in the league with the 2016-17 season.
- The Dewberry Mustangs are not in the league this season.

All eight teams qualify. Teams are re-seeded after quarterfinals. The quarterfinal round is best-of-three, the semifinal round is best-of-five, the final is best-of-seven.

The furthest advancing Alberta-based team will participate in the 2025 Alberta Senior AA playoffs. Saskatchewan-based teams compete in the 2025 Saskatchewan Senior Playoffs separate of the league playoffs. The Alberta Senior AA playoffs would be cancelled on March 25th.
