League Notes[]

  • On June 21, 2024 the league announced a tweaking of the playoff format for 2024-25 as the top four teams qualify for the playoffs with a divisional based quarterfinal round. The four quarterfinal winners are re-seeded and match-ups are based on 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3. All rounds are still best-of-seven.
  • The league announced on June 23, 2024 that the league will be moving away from having an entry draft after the 2024 draft. Teams retain the rights to a player from the 2023 draft until August 1, 2024 and from the 2024 draft until August 1, 2025. Any player unsigned from those drafts are eligible to sign with any league team after said dates.[3][4]
  • Each team will play a 58 game schedule running from September 20, 2024 to March 16, 2025 with division alignment remaining unchanged.
