
This is the 2024-25 Conference of New England women's ice hockey season.
The league would be renamed on August 1, 2024 ahead of its' 40th anniversary season.[1]
Membership Changes[]
- On December 8, 2022 the New England Hockey Conference announced that the Johnson and Wales Wildcats women's ice hockey team (and the men's team as well) will be leaving the conference to join the Commonwealth Coast Conference as early as the 2024-25 season.[2]
- On March 30, 2023 the New England Hockey Conference announced the addition of the the Salve Regina Seahawks men's ice hockey team and the Salve Regina Seahawks women's ice hockey team to the conference for the 2024-25 playing season. Both teams presently compete in the Commonwealth Coast Conference[3]

Format[]
Single elimination tournament. The fourth place team hosts the fifth place team in the first round. The winner then place the first place team while the second and third place teams meet in the semifinals. The semifinal winners meet for the conference championship. The conference tournament champion earns the conference's automatic bid to the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Ice Hockey Tournament.
