This is the 2024-25 Conference of New England men's ice hockey season.
The league would be renamed on August 1, 2024 ahead of its' 40th anniversary season.[1]
Membership changes[]
- On December 8, 2022 the New England Hockey Conference announced that the Johnson and Wales Wildcats men's ice hockey team (and the women's team as well) will be leaving the conference to join the Commonwealth Coast Conference as early as the 2024-25 season.[2]
- On March 30, 2023 the New England Hockey Conference announced the addition of the the Salve Regina Seahawks men's ice hockey team and the Salve Regina Seahawks women's ice hockey team to the conference for the 2024-25 playing season. Both teams presently compete in the Commonwealth Coast Conference[3]

Conference Tournament[]
Format[]
The top six teams qualify for the single elimination tournament. All games are held at the higher seeded team's rink. The tournament winner earns the conference's automatic bid to the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Ice Hockey Tournament.
