This is the 2023 Russ Barnes Trophy tournament. The tournament is to determine the Alberta Junior B Provincial champion. The tournament will be held April 5th to 9th at the Pason Centennial Arena in Okotoks, Alberta hosted by the Heritage Junior B Hockey League's Okotoks Bisons.

Note: The host team, the Okotoks Bisons also won their league playoffs, so the runner-up the Sylvan Lake Wranglers represents the Heritage Junior Hockey League at the tournament.
Format[]
The teams play four out of the five other teams in the tourament. The first and second place teams meet in the championship game for the Russ Barnes Trophy and the third and fourth place teams meet in the consolation game.
