The 2023 Fred Page Cup would traditionally be the eastern qualifier for the 2023 Centennial Cup involving the champions of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League, Ontario Junior Hockey League, Superior International Junior Hockey League and a pre-selected host team. As a result of the announcement that each of the nine league champions of the Canadian Junior Hockey League would directly qualify for the Centennial Cup tournament thus negating the need for the tournament.
