This is the 2023 Centennial Cup, which is Canada's National Junior A Championship. the event will be held May 11 to 21, 2022 at Stride Place in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba hosted by the Portage Terriers of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.
Qualifying[]
On December 16, 2022, as part of announcing the selection of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba as the host of the 2023 Centennial Cup it was announced that the tournament will be a ten team tournament for the second straight year with the nine league champions of the Canadian Junior Hockey League member leagues plus the host Portage Terriers. This announcement negates the need for the 2023 Fred Page Cup, 2023 Anavet Cup, and the 2023 Dudley Hewitt Cup.[1] One hundred-eighteen teams are eligible to qualify for the tournament
