Clark Cup Playoffs

Format

The playoff format had been modified in 2020 to have the top six teams in each conference qualifying for the playoffs with the top two seeds in each conference earning a bye to the conference semifinals. The conference quarterfinals will be best of three hosted by the #3 and #4 seeds. The conference semifinals will match the #1 seed against the winner of the 4-5 series and the #2 seed against the winner of the 3-6 series in a best-of-three series. The division final and league final will be best of five with home ice advantage going to the higher seed.

Eastern Conferences Quarterfinals

• Green Bay Gamblers defeated Chicago Steel 2 games to 1 (6-5, 2-5, 3-2 (ot))
• Youngstown Phantoms defeated Madison Captols 2 games to 1 (4-7, 5-2, 8-4)

Western Conferences Quarterfinals

• Lincoln Stars defeated Waterloo Black Hawks 2 games to none (1-0, 6-1)
• Tri-City Storm defeated Sioux Falls Stampede 2 games to 1 (5-6 (ot) 3-2 (ot), 8-3)

Eastern Conference Semifinals

• Dubuque Fighting Saints defeated Youngstown Phantoms 3 games to 1 (0-2, 6-0, 2-1 (ot), 2-0)
• Muskegon Lumberjacks defeated Green Bay Gamblers 3 games to 2 (3-4, 4-1, 2-0, 1-2, 4-3 (2ot))
