This is the 2023-24 Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League season. This is the league's 54th season overall dating back to the founding of the NOHA Junior B Hockey League in 1970, and the league's 46th season under this name.
Membership changes[]
- On May 8, 2023 the league announced that it had approved the relocation of the Cochrane Crunch to the Jus Jordan Arena in Iroquois Falls for the 2023-24 season.[1] On May 12, 2023 the team would announce it would renamed the Iroquois Falls Storm.[2] The team logo would be revealed on May 24, 2023.[3]
- On July 19, 2023 the league approved the transfer of the Elliot Lake Red Wings to new owners and the change of the team's name to the Elliot Lake Vikings, which was the name of the previous NOJHL team in the community from the 1960's to the 1990's. The team would be forced to play the whole season on the road (an not be able to practic) as the team's home rink was closed indefinitely in September of 2023 due to structural concerns of the 56 year old building.
