
This is the 2023-24 Ligue de Hockey Senior Élite season. This is the league's 20th season and fourth season under this name after being known as the Ligue de Hockey Senior du Richelieu since its' founding.[1]
Membership Changes[]
- Ventilations Côté relocated to Sainte-Adèle are are renamed HCVC Sainte-Adèle.
- The league adds the Saint-Roch-de-l'Achigan Jaguars, Montreal Mounties, the Bedford, Quebec based Southbec Express, and the Mercier, Quebec based HC Crédit Oui
- On April 24, 2024 the league announced the league unanimously voted to remove the Saint-Roch-de-l'Achigan Jaguars from the league.[2]
- On May 6, 2024 the league announced that the Contrecoeur Mustangs will be relocating to the Aréna Marcel-Larocque in Iberville for the 2024-25 season.[3] Originally the team wanted to move to Louiseville; but, the league rejected the move on May 3rd due to distance from the other teams.[4]
- On May 6, 2024 the Montreal Mounties anounced they would be relocating their home games to Aréna Martin-Brodeur for 2024-25.[5]

Playoffs[]
The top ten teams qualify. The 7th place team plays the 10th place team and the 8th place team play the 9th place team in a best-of-three qualifier. The teams are re-seeded 7th and 8th. The quarterfinals are best-of-five. The semifinal and final rounds are best-of-seven.
