This is the 2022 tournament for the University Cup, the U Sports men's hockey championship. It was to be played at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia and be hosted by Acadia University from March 17 to 20, 2022; but, was rescheduled to March 31 to April 3, 2022 due to delays caused by COVID-19 related cancellations and suspension of play It also had to be relocated to the Andrew H. McCain Arena in Wolfville, Nova Scotia on the campus of Acadia University due to scheduling conflicts at the Scotiabank Centre involving the arenas tenants, the Halifax Mooseheads of the QMJHL and the Halifax Thunderbirds of the National Lacrosse League..
