
This is the 2022 Coy Cup, which is the British Columbia men's Senior AA provincial championship.
Qualifying[]
Despite the North Peace Hockey League cancelling its' season, the Dawson Creek Sr. Canucks would announce on November 23rd that they would be intending to defend their 2019 Coy Cup championship and would schedule the required 6 senior games by the January 10th eligibility deadline.[1] The Fort St. John Flyers, who were the only other active member of the league from British Columbia, are not playing an independent schedule in an attempt to qualify for the tournament.
The Powell River Regals and Rossland Warriors were also attempting to qualify for the event as well. They played four games in late January early February and split their games two games each.
Rossland and Dawson Creek meet in a two game series February 18th and 19th at Rossland Arena.[2]

The champion of the Central Interior Hockey League playoffs, the Terrace River Kings would earn the right to serve as host of the final series.
