  • League welcomes the Niverville Nighthawks, ups schedule to 58 games per team.
  • Hockey Canada cancels ANAVET Cup, MJHL Champion goes directly to Centennial Cup.
  • Portage Terriers have been officially named by Hockey Canada as hosts of the 2023 Centennial Cup.
  • League schedules Prospect Development Camp for July 20th to 24th at the Seven Oaks Arena.
  • League schedules Top Prospects Showcase for November 15 – 16, 2022 at Stride Place in Portage la Prairie.
  • MJHL announced the continuation of the Anti-Racism and Cultural Sensitivity Education Program.
  • Manitoba and Saskatchewan Junior Hockey Leagues announce MJHL-SJHL Showcase will return for the 2022-23 season. The event will be held in Manitoba for the first time, taking place on January 31 thru February 1, 2023 at the Seven Oaks Sportsplex in Winnipeg.
  • MJHL to host Hockey Manitoba U16 Program of Excellence in July at the MJHL Prospects Camp.
  • League continues partnership with Headcheck Health.
  • League continues partnership with The Coaches Site.
  • Brock McGillis to deliver a virtual presentation to all MJHL players and staff members surrounding inclusion, hockey culture and his personal story of triumph as the first openly gay men’s professional hockey player.
