This is the 2022-23 Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League season. This is the league's third season back under this name and the league's 58th season dating back to the founding of the Rideau-St Lawrence Junior B League in 1966. The league was known as the Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League prior to the 2015-16 season and then the Central Canada Hockey League Tier 2 from 2016 to 2020.
Membership Changes[]
- On August 15, 2022 the Westport Rideaus announced that they would be relocating to the Smiths Falls Youth Arena in Smiths Falls and would be renamed the Smiths Falls Jr. Bears.[1] Interests in the community of Westport had already purchased the rights to the dormant Bytown Royals franchise in the Junior C level National Capital Junior Hockey League.[2]
