The 2021 Maritime-Hockey North Junior C Championships was to be the regional junior C championship.
On February 5th, the four branches that make up the Atlantic Region (Hockey New Brunswick, Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador, Hockey Nova Scotia, and Hockey PEI) unanimously decided to cancel the regional championships that they participate in for divisions from U13 to Junior, which cancelled the 2021 Fred Page Cup, 2021 Don Johnson Memorial Cup, and the 2021 Maritime-Hockey North Junior C Championships as well as the Atlantic Regional qualifiers for the Esso Cup and Telus Cup.[1]
The Island Junior Hockey League played what amounted to a normal season. The Nova Scotia Regional Junior Hockey League made it to game four of its' league final before restrictions were put in place due to a outbreak in the Halifax Regional Municipality that would not allow the playoffs to be completed. The New Brunswick Junior Hockey League was forced to suspend its' season in December due to several regions of the province having a large amount of cases caused the province to put into effect restrictions that made it unable to play. The league would return in mid-March and the league would go directly into its' playoffs.
