Hockey Manitoba was to have the Champions of Manitoba’s 4 Senior A Leagues face off for the Manitoba Championship, the Manitoba Cup.
The provincial playoffs were cancelled on November 30th, 2020 by Hockey Manitoba due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[1][2]
Hockey Manitoba had announced a change in format for the 2020 edition as the four league champions will be paired off in a two-round best-of playoff involving the champions of the province's four leagues. The two western leagues, the Tiger Hills Hockey League and the North Central Hockey League and the two eastern leagues Carillon Senior Hockey League and the South Eastern Manitoba Hockey League meet in best-of-three series with the winners advancing to an east-west final.
