The 2021 IIHF World U18 Championship were the 23rd such event hosted by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Teams would have participated at several levels of competition. The competition also would have served as qualifications qualifications for the 2022 competition. All tournaments other than the top division tournament were cancelled by IIHF on 18 November 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[1]

The tournament will be held from April 26 to May 6, 2021 in Frisco and Plano, United States.[2]
Location Change[]
Originally, he tournament was to be held from April 15 to April 25, 2021 in Plymouth and Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States.[3] The change of location was announced on February 11th, 2021 by the IIHF.[4]
