The 2021 Coy Cup would have been the the British Columbia men's Senior AA championship. The tournament would usually held in late March involving several qualifiers and a host team. The main men's senior league in the province, the Central Interior Hockey League cancelled its' season around November 24th and would make it very unlikely that there would be enough teams to make having the event practical. The host team had not been announced as of the CIHL cancelling its' season. The 2020 Coy Cup was to be hosted by the Quesnel Kangaroos prior to the event being cancelled in mid-March.
On January 5th, 2021 BC Hockey would announce the cancellation of the Coy Cup and the 2021 Cyclone Taylor Cup which is the provincial Junior B championship.[1]
