Laurentian University cancelled both its' men's and women's ice hockey programs as a result of financial difficulties at the university.[1]
Due to the lingering affects of the COVID-19 pandemic the league planned for a 20 game per team schedule with the divisions temporarily realigned into four divisions to reduce travel and additional restrictions.[2]
