This is the 2021-22 Ligue de Hockey Senior Élite season. This is the league's 18th season and second season under this name after being known as the Ligue de Hockey Senior du Richelieu since its' founding.[1]
The league would announce a suspending of activities on January 3rd pending updates and circumstance changes caused by the latest spike in COVID-19 cases in the province.[2]
Membership Changes[]
- The league added the Contrecoeur Mustangs and Ventilations Côté.
- The St-Hubert Mustangs and Varennes Merchante Viree are not in the league this season
- The Terrebonne Chambre would join the Ligue de Hockey Senior AAA du Quebec for the 2022-23 season.
