This is the 2021-22 Central Canada Hockey League season. This is the league's 61st season overall and 11th under this name.

Season Overview[]

On June 11th the league announced after its' Annual General Meeting that the season begins on September 23rd. Each team will play a 55 games schedule with each team playing all league opponents 5 times. The league will hold its' annual showcase over the Thanksgiving weekend at the Bell Sensplex in Ottawa. The regular season is due to end March 20th. The playoffs will consist of three rounds of best-of-seven series to determine the Bogart Cup winner and the league's representative at the 2022 Fred Page Cup in Summerside, Prince Edward Island from May 10-15, 2022 with the tournament winner advancing to the 2022 Centennial Cup at Affinity Place in Estevan, Saskatchewan May 20-29, 2022 hosted by the Estevan Bruins of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League.[1]

Bogart Cup Playoffs[]

Format[]

The top eight teams overall advance to the playoffs. In the quarterfinal round the top seed plays the 8 seed, the second seed plays the seventh seed, the third seed plays the sixth seed, and the fourth seed plays the fifth seed in best-of-seven series. The top remaining seed plays the lowest remaining seed and the middle two seeds play each other in the best-of-seven semifinals. The semifinal winners meet in the best-of-seven league final.

The playoff champion will advance to the 2022 Fred Page Cup which will be held in Summerside, Prince Edward Island hosted by the Summerside Western Capitals of the |Maritime Junior A Hockey League. The winner of that tournament will qualify for the 2022 Centennial Cup which is being held in Estevan, Saskatchewan hosted by the Estevan Bruins of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League.
