This is the 2020 Russ Barnes Trophy tournament. The tournament is to determine the Alberta Junior B Provincial champion. The tournament will be held at the Kinplex in Medicine Hat, Alberta hosted by the Capital Junior Hockey League's Medicine Hat Cubs. The event will be held April 2 to April 5, 2020.
The tournament would be cancelled on March 12th when Hockey Canada announced that all games played under their supervision were cancelled until further notice.

Format[]
The teams will be divided up into 2 four team pools and play a single round robin within the pool. The first place team from one pool plays the second place team from the other pool in the semifinals. The semifinal winners meet in the championship game for the Russ Barnes Trophy and a spot in the Keystone Cup (if a team goes) and the semifinal losers meet in the consolation game.
