This is scheduled to be the 2020 New Zealand Ice Hockey League season.
On March 12th the league announced it was suspending the season until futher notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[1]
Three teams would end up playing a double home and home round robin held between August 28th and October 17th for the Southern Showdown championship
