The 2020 IIHF World U18 Championship was to be the 22nd such event hosted by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Teams were to participate at several levels of competition. The competition was also to serve as qualifications for the 2021 competition.
Cancellation of event[]
On March 12, 2020 the IIHF announced that the tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.
