2020-21 LHUF Season

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic Canadian Inter-university leagues may will start play until at least early 2021 or cancel their seasons altogether. The dual year format for league season is being used as of now for naming consistency. Page names will be changed as warranted.

This is the 2020-21 Ligue de Hockey Universitaire Féminin season.

Delay and Possible Cancellation of 2020-21 season

On June 8, 2020 U Sports^[1] along with Atlantic University Sport^[2], Canada West Universities Athletic Association^[3], and Ontario University Athletics^[4] all announced that the fall semester athletic competitions were cancelled indicating that ice hockey and other winter sports will not start until January of 2021 and that the situation will be reviewed in a timely manner. Canada West's release set a deadline of October 8th for a decision whether to begin play in January.
