This is the 2020-21 Kootenay International Junior Hockey League season. This was the league's 60th season.
On November 21st the league announced it would suspend play until at least December 8th.[1]
On February 6th the league announced the cancellation of the 2020-21 regular season and playoffs.[2]
Membership changes[]
- Due to restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic the 100 Mile House Wranglers, Beaver Valley Nitehawks, and Spokane Braves all opt to sit out the season. A dispersal draft was held for the non-American players on the three teams rosters as American players were unable to cross the Canada-US border.[3]
The Osoyoos Coyotes are moved to the Neil Murdoch Division.
