This is the 2019 Russ Barnes Trophy tournament. The tournament is to determine the Alberta Junior B Provincial champion. The tournament will be held at the Wetaskiwin Civic Centre in Wetaskiwin, Alberta hosted by the Capital Junior Hockey League's Wetaskiwin Icemen. The event will be held April 4 to April 7, 2019.

- North West Junior Hockey League: Fort St. John Huskies (Champion) and Grande Prairie Kings (Runner-up)
- Heritage Junior B Hockey League: Coaldale Copperheads (Runner-up) and Airdrie Thunder (Champion)
Format[]
The teams will be divided up into 2 four team pool and play a single round robin within the pool. The first place team from one pool plays the second place team from the other pool in the semifinals. The semifinal winners meet in the championship game for the Russ Barnes Trophy and a spot in the Keystone Cup (if a team goes) and the semifinal losers meet in the consolation game.
