The 2019 Memorial Cup (branded as the 2019 Memorial Cup presented by Kia for sponsorship reasons) is a four-team, round-robin format tournament that will be held at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia from May 17–26, 2019. It will be the 101st Memorial Cup championship and will determine the champion of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL). The tournament will be hosted by the Halifax Mooseheads, who won the right to host the tournament over the Moncton Wildcats.[1]
As part of a new sponsorship agreement between the CHL and Kia Motors, the South Korean automaker will replace Mastercard as title sponsor of the tournament.[2]
