The playoff champion wins the Pattison Cup and advances to the 2019 Allan Cup as the decision was announced that the unused Quebec spot would go to the Western Region (Manitoba-Saskatchewan). Thus, the two provinces representatives both advance to the 2019 Allan Cup being held in Lacombe, Alberta.
