This is the 2019-20 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League season. This is the league's 52nd season.
Suspending of Play[]
The Canadian Junior Hockey League announced Thursday that effective Friday, March 13, all games and hockey-related activity involving its member clubs have been cancelled, until further notice, due to the continued threat of the global COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Pandemic as well as potential exposure and contamination of its players, team staff members, on and off-ice officials, volunteers and fans.[1]

Canalta Cup Playoffs[]
Format[]
The format was changed for 2019-20 now the top eight teams in the league standings qualify for the playoffs. All rounds are best-of-seven.
The Canalta Cup winning team will advance to the 2020 Anavet Cup with the Manitoba Junior Hockey League champion for the Western Region spot in the 2020 Centennial Cup which is being held in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.
The playoffs would be cancelled on March 12th.

- Flin Flon Bombers defeated Humboldt Broncos 4 games to none
- Yorkton Terriers tied with La Ronge Ice Wolves 2 games each
