This is the 2019-20 North Central Senior Hockey League (Alberta) season.
Membership Changes
- After having withdrawn from Allan Cup Hockey West early in the 2018-19 season, the Fort Saskatchewan Chiefs join the league.[1]
- The Whitecourt Wild announce they are suspending operations.[2]
- The Sylvan Lake Pirates are renamed to the Blackfalds Sr Wranglers.
- The Eckville Eagles relocate to Lacombe, and later Hockey Alberta approves their name change to the Lacombe AA Generals.
- Hockey Canada/Hockey Alberta suspended all play due to the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. The Vanburg Cup finals series between Daysland and Red Deer was put on hold with Daysland holding a 2-0 series lead.

Playoffs
Format
The top eight teams qualify for the playoffs. All rounds are best-of-five. The playoff champion and runner-up advance to the 2020 Alberta Senior AA playoffs being held in Lethbridge.
Quarterfinals
- Morinville Kings defeat Bonnyville Pontiacs 3-1 (BP 6 @ MK 3, MK 7 @ BP 5, BP 1 @ MK 17, MK 6 @ BP 5 (OT))
- Fort Saskatchewan Chiefs defeat Blackfalds Wranglers 3-0 (BW 2 @ FSC 3 (OT), BW 5 @ FSC 13, FSC 6 @ BW 3).
- Daysland Northstars defeat Lacombe Generals 3-2 (LG 2 @ DNS 1, DNS 7 @ LG 5, LG 0 @ DNS 6, DNS 1 @ LG 7, LG 4 @ DNS 5).
- Red Deer Rustlers defeat Devon Barons 3-0 (DB 0 @ RDR 4, RDR 6 @ DB 4, DB 0 @ RDR 5)
Semifinals
