This is the 2019-20 Kootenay International Junior Hockey League season. This was the league's 59th season.
Suspension of Playoffs[]
On March 12th the league issued the following statement: The Kootenay International Junior Hockey League has indefinitely suspended the 2019/20 playoffs due to ongoing concerns regarding COVID-19.
The KIJHL continues to communicate with B.C. Hockey, who is taking direction from health authorities. The health and safety of everyone involved in the league is our top priority.
When the KIJHL has more information with regards to its playoffs, the league will make an announcement.[1]

Playoffs[]
Format[]
The top 4 teams in each division qualify for the playoffs. The first two round series are best-of-seven. The semifinal and final series are best of five. The playoff champion advances to the 2020 Cyclone Taylor Cup which is being held at the South Cariboo Recreation Centre in 100 Mile House, British Columbia hosted by the 100 Mile House Wranglers of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League for the provincial Junior B championship.
